Insurance Account Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Don Middleton State Farm Insurance Agency is seeking an outgoing, motivated individual to join our sales team! The insurance sales representative will be responsible for recommending and identifying risk management strategies for customers by advising the correct insurance solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Develop new Financial Services opportunities.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Property & Casualty and Life & Health license (must be willing to have)
  • Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Career minded vision.
  • Be equipped with great listening and closing skills.
  • Personality assessment must be completed for an interview.
Experience
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively market and sell insurance products
  • Experience with telemarketing or sales is a plus

Compensación $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
